- We have brought several systems that help prevent leaks: water leaks on roofs, water through the foundation, petroleum products through the flange connections of pipelines and other critical areas. Water and petroleum products are always important and valuable. K-Systems Group LLC is a small technological enterprise from the Russian Federation, a resident of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. Our solutions allow us to find leakages before water or petroleum products flow through them. It is very important to prevent an unpleasant event, not to correct its consequences.
Today we present 3 main leak prevention systems.
The system with the richest history in Russia is instrumental waterproofing control. The Kontrolit system is most often used on flat roofs, on reservoirs for valuable or dangerous liquids (drinking water, industrial waste). Our unique Controlit material is integrated into the waterproofing system. After completion of the work, the entire waterproofing surface is checked with an Isotest 2.0 flaw detector. This allows you to find all defects or damage to the waterproofing layer, even invisible to the eye: puncture with a needle or self-tapping screw, seam failure, cracks, cuts, etc. All defects will be detected before water or other liquid appears on the surface, even if the insulation coating is dirty. This is a method of dry waterproofing control that allows you to work not only on horizontal surfaces, but also on vertical, including curved ones. In addition, we have 2 monitoring systems. In general, they work according to the same principle: a unique cable detector is placed in the places of the most likely leakage: at the flange connection of the pipeline, in the expansion joint of concrete or in the endowment. If moisture or oil vapours are detected around the detector (depending on the detector type and settings), a warning signal is sent to the operator. You get the opportunity to rectify the situation at the first sign of impending danger. The distinctive features of cable detectors are their reusability and, consequently, long service life, as well as freedom in their spatial arrangement in critical areas.
